The .EXP file inside your zip contains the info I was seeking to extract, after having seen it in the strings dump - I have no idea what this export type is called, but it's the info I was looking for. Thanks again! Someone else (off-list) also made some exports and offered to send me their zip, but I haven't received that one yet. I already know that the DSN I'm dealing with has exactly the same schematic version in it (same version of the Leonardo board) as one of the PDFs I found on the same FTP site (Leonardo_rev05.pdf), so between that PDF print and the component data export provided by Joshua, we already have all of the information content out of the DSN. Still, an EDIF export of the graphical drawing (symbols, graphical net and bus lines etc) would be interesting, if someone can generate one - someone else posted an EDIF to gschem conversion tool, so it would be neat to just "import" the graphical drawing sheets into gschem and have them in FOSS-editable form.
