It's easy for me to do since I don't have to write code or figure out how to stop abuse - imagine someone uploads porn, unlicensed movies, or banner ads. Now imagine hundreds of these accounts being auto-created every day. I *already* had to fix this for the geda-project wiki, so it's a real threat.
