The liquid crystal?!/ that the 50 pin thing is made from is not fun to work with. Open Gripe : The mating depth for these things is far from standardized. Is this thing going to see vibration or is it for use on a desk/rack? I imagine mechanical alignment from board to board is more of an issue with larger position count flat flex. Oh yea and don't forget to track when the pins flip.
