I've kicked around some ideas for doing it (either using slot=0, or better yet, removing the unique identifier job from refdes, relegating it to a label, and assigning a UUID attribute to components. But for now I usually end up selecting the slotted and non-slotted symbols, and assign attribute/overwrite.
