Lately I've been getting frustrated by a couple selection behaviors. First:

Far Side - you can turn it off but that stops displaying it too. I realize
you need to be able to select stuff on the far side in order to move
subsections which contain traces and elements on both sides.  Is there a
way to toggle selection so PCB displays but doesn't select on the far side?

Locked - When an item is locked, it also disables snap-to-pins/pads and the
mouse-over Pin-name/Element-name/Netname. I think this may actually be a
bug.

And while I'm looking at crosshairs - is there a way to prevent stub traces
that are entirely contained within a pad?
