I ran a couple of simple circuits that I built using the supplied GUI since the time I purchased it. Works great - The GUI is easy to use and you can create your own parts/circuits or use vendor supplied parts/circuits. At the moment, I run a lot of the geda tools on both my linux machine and my macbook pro. In fact, just today I natively compiled and installed icarus verilog on the mac - Steve Williams rocks!
