The object here was to convince a guy who had tried gschem and PCB a few years ago, and hated the user interface, to give it another try because it had gone through significant improvements since then. What, exactly, did he hate? To me, gschem is a power tool with few problems, while pcb is unusable. And the development effort on pcb isn't going into fixing the problems that make pcb unusable.
