Almost always when I look at such reports there are additional issues to consider, they require testing, design/UI behaviour decisions, etc. Feel free to test such patches to find out how good they are. If they intend to change gEDA's behaviour, describe and discuss them here. And there is also quite a number of years old bug reports which beg for re-evaluation.
