John D. will be quick to point out other work-flows and that he actually uses some. These arguments tend to pop up time and again. I did a poll on geda-user some time ago. It was probably 2010 or 2009. You can look it up in the archive. (gmane archive, that is). Results were not very surprising: Almost everybody does gschem->pcb. Some also do some other work-flows.
