Hmm. I think the ambition for such a tool should be to "rule them all" meaning that it would do a superset of other open (and perhaps also closed) footprint design tools, so that in the future there will just be a single data source for footprints. This would also be where to say, on footprint export, "my board house plates all holes. please adjust." Such a lovely project. //Peter
