The impression I'm getting= is that I should add a the copper and silver platings and the yellow silk = to my patch before it gets integrated. I think this makes sense as changing= it from a boolean later would break backward compatibility. Does that soun= d like the best plan?

Unfortunately, I might not have a chance to implement t= his until sometime next week, but I am willing to do this. I'll add a n= ew file to the bug report and send out an email when I get it done. I look = forward to getting my first patch included :)

Sorry, no, I've never ordered a silver plated board. This said, I= 've seen
and even bought microwave cavity filters with silver plating but they are in the other lab right now (50km).

Metallic colours are impossible to reproduce exactly, but the RGB
colour (192,192,192) or 75% white is called silver. This might be
used as a starting point, but my impression is that genuine silver
actually looks a but more "yellowish".

Sorry, I don't have anything like this around here (I always oder= boards with
defaut soldermask and silkscreen). But I just did some tests on my screen a= nd
I'd suggest to start around (224, 224, 0). But opinions on colours...
