I've already bisected this -- the thank-you-for-the-fix-cookie goes to Vladimir Zhbanov -- and filed a bug with patch: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcb/+bug/988503 Let's hope a) the patch applies to Ubuntu's version of the sources, too, and b) somebody who knows how to get such a fix into Ubuntu's package update system picks it up.
