Get type SJO rubber jacketed stranded wire cable for power hookups. 18 ga. is a common type. If home depot and the like don't have, try ordering from mouser or digikey. And the West Marine idea is great! Marine stuff is always long lasting, and it sounds even more flexible than type SJO. The key to flexing is rubber insulation rather than vinyl. John
