The mechanism there is: 1. become an active user (of pcb-rnd) 2. report bugs, contribute (non-coding), build up some good reputation 3. request a feature 4. get your feature implemented 5. test your new feature, provide feedback, get bugs fixed I've already checked the thermal-on-pad thing a few months ago, it's not very hard to do, but requires a lot of user testing.
