I would use netnames to do that. If they were agnd and dgnd before, change both to gnd and you're done. Keep that change to one small area of the schematic, with a dashed line box of graphical only lines around it. Don't sprinkle the netnames agnd, dgand, gnd all over, keep them in that dashed box. Use page connectors to conduct them to other pages. Label them with graphical only comments on the other pages.
