I think its "edit down" or "modify reference" or something vague. However if youu find the folder where the sybol lives, it is a .sym file which gschem will open and edit. Look on the wiki for a writeup called something like "creating new symbols in gschem" and it will tell you how to properly format the new sym On Apr 24, 2014 8:49 AM, "Jim Lynch" wrote: > I want to take an existing symbol for a terminal block and expand it to > more pins. Is there a way I could use a CAD program to build a part and store it in a = format that gschem might be able to use? =C2=A0 Or whatever?

Thanks,
