What kind of Linux: I have been running geda/PCB on a plain vanilla Debian for many many years. I don't have a lot of experience with other distributions, but I've been pleased with the Debian and building new geda/PCB from source. Very dependable and fast. The developers have done an awesome job improving the installation from the newest code. Phil
