The Ubuntu package for the nvidia-96 driver that my card needs seems not to be working right now. The version that Ubuntu has on hand (96.43.19) requires xorg-video-abi-8.0 and there are no packages left that provide that? https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-96/+bug/807158 It seems Oneiric will have the next version bump from Nvidia, but that's probably not due out for another 2 months. I'm going to try a manual install of the drivers directly from Nvidia. Thanks, ~Eric
