I recently replaced Opera as my newsreader since it had some issue where posts wouldn't be displayed. Since you're posting via AIOE, you can subscribe and post to aioe.helpdesk, if there is an issue with AIOE. I've been posting through AIOE. I don't read there. Posting there has been very reliable, but their article retention and completion is lousy, IMO. You might try reading somewhere else for a while, like freenews.netfront.net or news.dizum.net or perhaps eternal-september or Google Groups. I see more and more people using eternal-september, preferencing it over AIOE for some reason ... textnews.cambrium.nl was the best place to read text-only groups, but it has been down for a while now. It's possible that this is permanent. You can also telnet into Usenet newservers and request the article via ARTICLE command with the message ID. E.g., look at the source for a missing message on Google Groups. Get the message ID. E.g., to see if AIOE has your message above: telnet nntp.aioe.org 119 ARTICLE QUIT Rod Pemberton
