Yes, I tried it once and was suprised that it worked right out of the box. It was just one source file and I did not have to use configure or make for that. It was quite some time ago.

If you have a different experience I guess my test was too quick.

With other words one should look for a solution to run DJGPP on 64bit Windows. This means using virtualisation to avoid a major rewrite of DJGPP.
