If you want a reliable Gawk, don't use the one from GnuWin32, their ports of Gawk are buggy (MinGW doesn't offer a port, AFAICS). Either compile Gawk yourself (it's easy), or use the binaries from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ezwinports/files/
