Some of you here may remember me from an earlier time when I was active on this list. I have a project that has been assuming Cygwin as a base environment for some extensive bash scripting, but some on the project think that is just too much baggage. Remembering my DJGPP experiences, I offered to come back here and see if DJGPP could help us out. There are a few utility programs that we are using that do not seem to have yet been ported to DJGPP. Can you tell me if there is anyone working on porting these tools, or who may have already done some work in that direction? clear, file, mktemp, mc, netcat TIA for any info or help you can provide.
