I would have bet that XP is the most popular "DOS" around. One simply cannot beat the combination of a console window doing DJGPP in combination with all the amenities of a modern OS - unless DOS specific features and compatibility are desired. In my case it is just number crunching and my GUI is called "Courier New". If I wanted to wait for MingW to get their GCC 4.0 ready, I'd have to wait forever. Therefore - applause again to the DJGPP team!
