As a matter of fact, it is homework in a sense. Actually, I thought the comment rather cute ;-))) I intend to try Eli's suggestion this weekend (after the races naturally). One final comment and I won't bother anyone about this anymore. I "lifted" the code for saving struct's from "C for Dummies" Vol. 1 & 2, almost verbatim. Changed only filenames, extensions and display. Admittedly not the cleanest code, very simplistic. But all three struct's are structured (pun intended) the same way, calls to the save and read functions are all the same, everything for all 3 struct's are the same. Yet only 1 struct gives me problems and only part of the time. Sigh, well there's always FreeBASIC ;-)) Willy P.S. like your tag lines. Haven't seen good stuff like that since my old BBS days! ******************************************************************** Keller Racing Performance by Design KellerRcng AT cs DOT com http://www.bylleet.com/keller_racing http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/nostalgia_drag_bike SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL DRAG RACER!! ********************************************************************
