Suspending DOS/VDM windows when in the background is the default under Windows. To change it while the program window is displayed, click on the Background button so it is indented, switching the window from Always Suspend in Background to Don't Suspend in Background; or you can select the top left icon System Menu or then Properties, or the Properties button with the hand on it, select the Misc tab, and click to clear the Background/Always Suspend check box. -- Thanks.
