X-Authentication-Warning: delorie.com: mail set sender to djgpp-bounces using -f Message-Id: <200412162018.iBGKI8b7016297@delorie.com> From: "Juan Manuel Guerrero" Organization: Darmstadt University of Technology To: djgpp-announce AT delorie DOT com Date: Thu, 16 Dec 2004 20:52:00 +0200 Subject: ANNOUNCE: Some binaries recompiled with djdev204 beta 1 uploaded Content-description: Mail message body X-TUD-HRZ-MailScanner: Found to be clean X-TUD-HRZ-MailScanner-SpamCheck: X-MailScanner-From: st001906 AT hrz1 DOT hrz DOT tu-darmstadt DOT de This are binaries produced with the beta 1 patchlevel of djdev204.zip For the convenience of the WinXP users I have recompiled all the packages that I have lately ported to MSDOS/DJGPP. All produced binary packages have been produced using the source packages of those ports. They have been reconfigured and recompiled using djdev204 patchlevel beta 1 as it can be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2/djdev204.zip For those ports that require it, appropriate files (like popen.c) have been taken from the actual cvs source tree of djdev204 and compiled in the port sources to replace the broken functionaly in the stock djdev204 beta 1. The following binary packages can be downloaded from ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as (timestamp 2004-12-15): Gzip 1.3.5 binary, info and man format documentation: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/gzip135b.zip libiconv 1.9.2 binary, info and man format documentation: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/licv192b.zip m4 1.4.2 binary, info and man format documentation: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/m4-142b.zip Sed 4.1.2 binary, info and man format documentation: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/sed412b.zip Texinfo 4.7 binary, info and man format documentation: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/txi47b.zip There will be no source nor docs packages because they are the same than the packages that come with the ports produced with stock djdev203. If you want to recompile one of this packages from the sources you will have to install djdev204.zip and the run the following commands: rm djgpp/config.cache djgpp\config **or** djgpp\xp-config make make check make install If the sources contain a xp-config.bat file then this one must be used instead of the normal config.bat file. If there is no xp-config.bat then config.bat will be the only and right choise. Send suggestions and bug reports concerning one of these DJGPP ports to comp.os.msdos.djgpp or . Enjoy.
