GNU programs are documented in TeXinfo format help which is displayed by "info". Type "info libc a scanf" e.g. for scanf. For commands, etc. not documented in info format, info will find and display man pages installed in directories $DJDIR/man/man# ("nroff -man" format files named topic.#) or $DJDIR/man/cat# (text files named topic.#). -- Thanks.
