On Windows/DOS, you wouldn't, but given a sufficiently complete DJGPP installation, you can do it, in essentially the same way you would on Unix: ./configure The catch is that you have to do this from a running Unix-ish command shell, which in the case of DJGPP is GNU bash. The short way of doing this is therefore bash configure But let me repeat my earlier recommendation: for the case of packages like indent, which have already been ported to DJGPP by others, and published as binary packages for your convenience, I would advise against trying this unless you have a specific need that the existing binary doesn't fulfill *and* the skill to pull this off.
