Checking more thoroughly the binutils package I use is the W2k patched 2.14 one (which is considered beta). Other than that, I did not linked in any other library nor did any other thing to have the (default) console emulate the ANSI driver. What I have is the CONFIG.NT with 'device=%SystemRoot%\system32\ansi.sys'. -- Cesar Rabak
