For custom variables, it's easy. Let's say you have something like this in autoexec.bat: set MAILER=c:\stuff\dosmail If you wanted this set for emacs in djgpp.env, you'd do this: [emacs] MAILER=c:\stuff\dosmail (if there's already an emacs section, just add the new variable). All the other syntax is designed to accomodate the plethora of user configurtions; you don't need it if it's just for you.
