If you insist on doing it this way, prepare to spend a lot of time figuring
out autoconf errors. The gcc autoconfigure setup is very complicated..

You need the patch - just get the prepatched sources called gcc*s.zip.

Hmmm, haven't seen that one before :)
I guess you ran configure in the root since you have Makefiles. I don't
really know if a make in the libstdc++ dir is OK like that.. Same error if
you make from root?
