To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com DJ-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com Hi all, I was working with C++ and DJ compiler and compiled an object file. I used objdump and readelf to examine the symbol tables. Here's the weird part. readelf said my .o file wasn't a ELF file. It said coff. Now I must confess I don't know what coff is though I've seen it here and there. Is coff and GNU format or is it DJ's format? I'd like to work with ELF if possible so I can write portable binaries for linux.
