You mentioned that you are using XP. So far it looks like you have not found any of the other problems with running some of the old programs on XP. I would advise that you grab the 2.04 alpha release as it works allot better on XP. One small piece of advise is that you do not mix 2.03 and 2.04 files unless you can trace down symlink issues as 2.04 can call 2.03 symlink's, but the other way does not work and will have you scratching your head allot more than the problem you just resolved.
