Maybe you need to synchronise the database, so that pakke knows about all the packages you have installed without pakke. Have you done this? pakke -v --initdb pakke -v --syncdb After that, what does "pakke -q djdev" show as the version of djdev? If it's not 2.03 patchlevel 2, please upgrade.
