At this point, you might want to download a fresh copy (or re-extract the archive) to make sure you have clean copies of everything. BTW, it seems like v.2.4.6 now has release status. Given that it's only a 2Mb download, it might be worth giving it a shot. I am sorry to be of no help other than to keep saying it worked fine on my end.
