I suspect it's true of more than just Python.

I haven't tested most of the packages I've made with SFN for some time. The
only package I absolutely guarantee to work with SFN is fileutils (and
coreutils 5.0, when I've finished porting that). I have neither the time or
inclination to do it with most packages, especially when LFN drivers exist for
DOS and NT.
