NT clones have autoexec.nt in \system32 directory. Your path is from there I think. Environment usage in NT is very mysterious. There are 2 command interpretators - cmd.exe and command.com - you never know what is used and when. Environment size settings are unpredictable and you path can be truncated silently. Setting it in windows or autoexec.nt have just temporary effect. Tõnu.
