I would guess that this may be only 2/3 correct, but beter than 50%. >I can't seem to find 2.04, do you have a link? See below. .. snip.. >I already did all of that, exactly as stated in the readme. if I type PATH, >it shows me the path and "c:\djgpp\bin" is at the front of it. if I type >"set djgpp" it shows me "DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV" and I already included >the text from the dos prompt in my initial email. My fault, missed this very vital peice of info. Based on what I missed and your second response you have two choices:- 1) Go and grab all of the updated zip files using the zip picker at www.delorie.com 2) Go and grab the 2.04 alpha 1 files. As you are using XP I would advise to go for option 2 as not all of the zip files have been re-built with the updated 2.03 libc. If you do use the alpha 1 release then I suggest you read the readme.1st again as it has info on potential issues you may come accross. See the following newsgroup posting regarding the 2.04 alpha 1 release:- http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/mail-archives/browse.cgi?p=djgpp-announce/2003/04/27/10:12:07 Andrew
