There is no "cc" command in djgpp. First of all, thanks for a speedy reply : 4 minutes from question to answer is FAST. This newbie is a bona-fide beginner with make. Until reading the info documentation on make, I had never seen a cc statement/command/method. I am referring to the simple makefile included in the Introduction node of info. I will be trying out : gpp -c main.cc and doing some more info reading on make. Michel Chassey
