Interesting how Microsoft can control your whole computer when anyone uses XP, but the owner (me) can't even access normal VESA modes and IO ports from my DJGPP programs anymore. BTW I have heard rave reviews about the new M$ 2003 server. But I don't care. When I need a new laptop, I look for another W2K system, or (better??) a Linux one. The problem with the Linux systems, a lot of my friends seem to be spending a LOT more time trying to "set their computer up right", once they install that stuff. A lot of hardware has no vendor support WSE. Between a rock and a hard place :-(
