I just want to inform you that everything is working now. This is the story about how. I deleted everything in my "djgpp" except the zip-files. I started with exhange one of the zip-file by downloading from a different site. I unziped (is that the right spelling) everything by using unzip32 and tryed the program. If it didnīt work I deleted again and tryed to exchange another of the zip-files. I went on like this till I at last exchanged the rhide-file. Then it finally went out well. But I had to try more than one site. So my theory now is that there could have been some problem when downloading. Or could it have been some problem depending on what program I used to unzip. Right now I donīt care. In the earlier days when one transferred a file via some kind of media, there was always a way of building a checksum that should be at the end of the transfering and correspond with the checksum that was build up during the transfer. I donīt know if this is a technic used when you download. If not, I think it is a pity. And this is funny: When was using a program that I have been writing myself and was using, this is what happened: I have a program that reminds me if I want to update now or will be reminded later. When that window turned up on the screen, the full screen with rhide turned into a MS-DOS small window. Just like the window I was used to see on the old computer. I turned off the window with the remindingtext. And rhide was still a MS_DOS window. And it stayed that way until I had to answer 'no' in the program I was running. When I am answering no in my program, it is supposed to end and go back the written program. And when I answered no, the screen turned back to full screen. I expect that anybody can explain what really happened. But my reflexion is that, if this could happen why canīt it bee possible to program for this to be a selectable version. You have really been patient. So to you personally: Would you mind send me your personal postaddress to me. Because I just want to send a small gift based on my little hobby. MVH Anders.
