Interesting that this works in 3.2.2, I didn't know C++ style variable declarations (in the middle of a block) are allowed in C now. Time for some googling to catch up :) Ah, I'm trying to make a 3.2.2 cross compiler now and am having a nasty time with autoconf in /gcc. Keep trying.. Thanks! Rob
