The files in the V2TK directory in 99% of cases do NOT follow any standard, apart from that they have been contributed from end users and have worked with at least one version of DJGPP released. I would suggest that you try to deal directly with the svgalib maintainer with this or read the FAQ about submitting programs and update it yourself if you feel so strong about it. Andrew
