I connected to http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/mailing-lists/subscribe.html I clicked on "Do it", having filled in the form as follows: Enter your e-mail address: I gave mine Select the list you are interested in: DJGPP Worker's List Select the operation to perform: Add me to the list I got the following response from http://www.delorie.com/listserv/listserv.cgi Mailing List Command Results Add is no longer supported due to abuse. Please email listserv AT delorie DOT com instead. I looked for similar problems in news:/comp.os.msdos.gjgpp at http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?num=100&hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8 As a result, I sent two emails to listserv AT delorie DOT com. Neither had a subject, both had the "From:" address shown above. The texts were add djgpp-workers and subscribe djgpp-workers Neither provoked a response. What does "Please email listserv AT delorie DOT com instead." actually mean. That is, how do I stimulate listserv AT delorie DOT com to give me a response - even if it is the British abusive phrase represented by the NATO message: Foxtrot Oscar. I ROT-13 the text as "Shpx Bss!". I don't aim to do much more than kibitz in djgpp-workers. I DO have a trivial patch for the make source archive (I'm too lazy to quote the URL). I hope to analyse a more significant problem. I won't bore this audience with it. -- Walter Briscoe
