For an attempt at reproducing the problem I thought it would not have been required. If someone had said they tried to reproduce the problem but could not that's when you start looking at differences in setup. > > There are a wide range of possible causes for your problem. The original email said I use Win2K. Crystal ball not required. About djgpp vs DJGPP, will do. I'm sure the folks that maintain MinGW would appreciate you capitalizing that properly as well. I didn't realize that DJGPP is aimed at DOS instead of Windows. Thanks for that info. > > If you need help, 'ask humble, stay humble, and learn' (2). If the DJGPP community feels this is not a problem worth investigating or fixing that is fine. I'm not blocked. > > J. L. > (1) My machine can handle up to 4 HD. Video editing takes up a lot of space. Plus I have a hard time letting go of old hard drives when I upgrade :-) Sander
