You would be well advised to get rid of that Outhouse newsreader. Thank heaven info is not rodent driven. It does take some getting used to, but has a pretty decent introduction and help system built in. If you simply install it and the documentation the opening menu can lead anywhere you wish. That menu is the thing that could use improvement, and somebody has been doing some work on it. However info is NOT djgpp specific - you will get the same documentation and interface on many systems. I am very glad the HTML versions of the various doc files are monolythic. That allows easy printout in the format and page size of choice. When viewed as HTML in a browser the linkages are pretty easy to handle. No need to use the scrollbars, just use space, and the various paging and arrow keys. I think you need to learn how to use and control DOS windows. -- Chuck F (cbfalconer AT yahoo DOT com) (cbfalconer AT worldnet DOT att DOT net) Available for consulting/temporary embedded and systems.
