For your timezone, any time before 1970:01:01::01:59:59 is invalid,
since that's before the beginning of the epoch (you are 2 hours ahead
of UTC).  The fact that some values before that _are_ representable
is probably some subtle bug in mktime.

The rest of the log looks okay to me.
