Dude, you don't generally need to subscribe to e-mail lists, to post to them. I believe Eli told you this in another message here recently. Just send a mail to the list and mention that you're not subscribed to the list. People are usually good enough to CC you on the replies, so you don't need to be a subscriber to follow the replies. All the mailing lists that I run work like this. I think you're deluding yourself about e-mail lists. Just try taking our advice!
