I don't think there'll be anything on this site that helps with a specific problem with compiling a specific library though! What I need is to communicate with a *person* who knows something about this. Not possible by surfing a web site full of static, prewritten documents generically about Cygwin and presumably not at all about Allegro. Quite possible on a newsgroup.
