So you insert a/b.txt, Im not sure that im following you here, because I see the directory names in the version of winzip that I use. (Ver. 8.0). I just recently switched from v2.70, and I was able to see all the directories in the winzip window in that version. > then decide to delete it and a/ is still in there hidden from view. I have never tried to delete a directory, while the files are still compressed. I'll have to try this and see what happens. William
